Urology Day at State Capitol
Dear AZUS Members,
Over the past few years, we have arranged for a “Urology Day” down at the Arizona State Capitol, where urologists participate in the “Physician of the Day” program coordinated by the Arizona Medical Association (ArMA).
This is a great opportunity to educate our legislators on our profession and gain greater credibility with the elected officials, and it was this type of relationship with Senator Heather Carter that led to our success in passing Urology Telemedicine legislation in 2018.
