Arizona Sues MultiPlan, Major Health Insurers
On Monday, Arizona Medical Association President Dr. Jason Jameson and ArMA member Dr. Andrew Carroll joined Attorney General Kris Mayes to support the announcement of a lawsuit to end healthcare price-fixing in Arizona. The case alleges that MultiPlan and several commercial medical insurers colluded to underpay physicians. ArMA, alongside the American Medical Association and hundreds of physician practices, is party to similar federal litigation.
