This year, AZUS will hold a one-hour reception and Annual Membership Meeting during the Western Section AUA Annual Meeting in beautiful Maui, Hawaii.
Why the Change?
For many years, the Arizona Urological Society has brought members together for a dedicated annual meeting. Those meetings created lasting friendships, spirited discussions, and many great memories.
Like many medical societies across the country, however, AZUS has seen the way physicians engage with professional organizations evolve. Busy practices, increasing travel costs, family commitments, and the growing importance of work-life balance have made it more difficult for members to devote an entire summer weekend to a standalone meeting.
With that in mind, the AZUS Board is excited to introduce a fresh approach.
Instead of asking Arizona urologists to dedicate another weekend away from their practice and families, AZUS is bringing its Annual Reception and Membership Meeting to one of the premier urological meetings in the country: the Western Section AUA Annual Meeting in beautiful Maui, Hawaii.
By meeting during the Western Section Annual Meeting, we're making it easier than ever to stay involved.
