AZUS now full voting Arizona Medical Association (AHAC) member

AZUS President, Dr. Chris Twiss, has announced that the AZUS is now a full voting member in ArMA as part of the Arizona Healthcare Advocacy Coalition (AHAC), a coalition of the largest physician organizations in the State of Arizona. This provides all members with a voice in legislation affecting all Arizona Urologists.

The AZUS also holds one delegate seat in the ArMA House of Delegates.

The Arizona Medical Association (ArMA) House of Delegates (HOD) constitutes the voting body of the association and is composed of representatives from county medical societies, direct members, medical students and specialty and subspecialty societies.  In accordance with the bylaws of ArMA, state specialty societies are entitled to representation at the Annual HOD meeting.  State Specialty Societies with 250 or fewer members are entitled to one delegate; societies with more than 250 members are entitled to two delegates.  All delegates must be current ArMA members (who are not in the associate category) and, if possible, not currently on the ArMA Board of Directors, http://www.azmed.org/page/Board.
